Ive just been told to inform dvla as i have focal seizures, will i definitely lose my driving license?

So sorry to hear about your focal seizures and how they might effect your driving.
You do indeed have to inform the DVLA, and could be fined a significant amount if you don’t. Whether you will completely lose your license depends on a few factors (if you experience them when you’re awake/ asleep as an example), so you should just have a chat with them and see what their thoughts are based on your condition.
If you are having seizures in the day though, you will most likely lose your license I’m afraid. 
but I’m sure that won’t be forever!!
