I have absent seizures and it can be hard to know when you having or have had one. I’m currently on new medication and my doctor has asked me to track them which is going to be a struggle. Was just wondering if anyone had any tips on tracking their seizures?x

Do you have anyone around you that can maybe look out for the seizures or let you know if they think you had one?
I know absence seizures can be very quick so I know it’s quite difficult to track.

Hi Daisy,
It certainly can be difficult to know - for certain - that you’ve had an absence seizure. When at uni and work, I was really open with my friends and colleagues, told them of the signs to look out for (i.e. staring blankly, stopping talking) and asked them to inform me if this ever happened. I used to then circle in red the date in my diary so I could update my doctor.
