This is your place to share surveys…
post below links to surveys, don’t forget to tell people what you are asking about, who you want to answer it, when the closing date is and anything else that is important

Are you 11 - 16 and living in the UK?

Can you spare a few mins to share what you think 11-16 year olds need to support their mental health during covid-19?

The Emerging Minds Network at the University of Oxford have just 3 questions they want your help with. It’s designed for young people to let researchers know which areas of mental health they need support in.

Take part here: https://emergingminds.org.uk/co-ray-priority-setting, it is open now until mid-June.

Survey – Parent/carer experience of giving epilepsy medicine to children

Young Epilepsy is supporting a survey, being carried out by an independent market research company, to find out about parents’ and carers’ experiences of giving long-term epilepsy medicine to children (under the age of 18). We’re sharing the survey link and information here in case you would be interested in taking part.

The survey is being sponsored by a pharmaceutical company that specialises in medicines for children and is endorsed by Steve Tomlin, Chief Pharmacist at Great Ormond Street Hospital. They intend to publish the survey data findings in a peer review journal.

All the responses will be anonymously gathered together in a report. The results would be used by pharmaceutical companies to learn where they can improve their products and services. Young Epilepsy would also be interested to read the results to help inform the support we offer to parents and carers.

The survey is being run by an independent market research company, TIGCRU Insight, with associate Listen to Your Team (LTYT), an independent survey company.* It only takes 10/15 minutes to complete and there are no right or wrong answers. Taking part is entirely voluntary and you can withdraw at any time .

Are you between 18 - 25-years-old and based in UK or Ireland? Are you living with long-term physical condition, such as epilepsy?

Orla is a student doing her PhD with Dublin City university and is surveying research on young people who are living with long-term physical conditions (including neurological conditions, like epilepsy).

Could you spare a few minutes to support her research and share how you manage your conditions while experiencing the life changes that can happen during this period (e.g. college, first jobs, moving away from home, socialising, adult healthcare)?

This research also includes young people in same age bracket without physical conditions, so that she can compare them as a peer group. When reviewing the available research on managing long-term physical conditions, she found that this age group has often been overlooked as a specific group, so it is an important period for life transitions and responsibilities, for people living with conditions.

You can take part here and all submissions are highly appreciated: bit.ly/DCUPsychology
