This is my first time posting, I apologise if I’ve posted in the wrong area.
I’ve witnessed my husband having two TC seizures in the past, once whilst driving the car and once in our bathroom - both of which have made me a nervous wreck. We now have a twelve year old son who had a seizure initially in lockdown (2020), we put it down to the situation, but he has unfortunately continued to have them. He was diagnosed as generalized with focal. After being able to film one he had at home one day, he was also diagnosed with migraines and non epileptic seizures. Both the epileptic and non epileptic seizures present the same so we can’t tell them apart. We know and have also been told that he is extremely anxious and when he gets a migraine, he thinks he’s going to have a seizure. He is having counselling for this but it doesn’t seem to be helping at the minute. He is also on the waiting list for an autism assessment. Myself and my husband are trying to hold down full time jobs and are being called out to pick him up from school on a weekly basis because he’s been unresponsive. He is on Lamotrigine which was increased again last week. I’m at my wit’s end and don’t know what else we can do to help him with all of this - 99% of things happen at school. Any advice would be appreciated.
